Premium Silicone Coating / Paint - General Purpose & Waterproofing
This premium silicone paint delivers great quality and is ideal for various craft and household projects. Different from other silicone paints, this premium silicone paint uses an advanced 1-part formula, and does not need to mix 2 components, and can be opened and used multiple times. Compared with acrylics paints, this silicone paint provides attractive sleeky film appearance and more natural touch feeling, and more durable in many cases. Pigments are also easier to disperse in silicone, thus colors are typically more accurate and durable in silicone coating. This product also features: Nontoxic, high solid and zero VOC; Available in multiple colors and sets; 1 component, does not need to mix 2 components; Dry to touch in 1-2 hours; Great adhesion to most surfaces; Mold and mildew resistant; Easy application with roller and brush, self leveling; Water Proofing, both interior and exterior use. Product is provided in pint, quarter and gallon. Larger volume availabe on request.
Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA, PVOH)
Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA or PVOH) is a non-toxic, colorless, and odorless biodegradable polymer used extensively as an emulsion polymerization aid, a binder for pigments in paper applications, and a thickener / stabilizer in coatings and adhesives etc. PVA is mostly characterized by its hydrolysis level, the degrees of polymerization (viscosity), and the particle size. We provide a full range grades equivalent to major brands. Common grades like 0599 are in stock ready to ship. Materials can be provided as powder or in 4-5% solutions.
Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC)
Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) is a line of nonionic, water-soluble, cellulose based polymers which is produced by treating reacting alkali-cellulose with ethylene oxide. HEC is primarily used as a thickener for water-based paint, ink, and adhesive formulations. HEC grades are defined by the molecular weight or more specifically the viscosity of the aqueous solution that they produce at 2% by weight. HEC is also used as suspension aid, binder, emulsifier, film former, emulsion stabilizer, dispersant, water retention aid, and protective colloid. HEC from AMR provides narrow viscosity ranges, consistent viscosity reproducibility, and excellent solution clarities, equivalent to primary Ashland and Dow grades.
Hydroxy Terminated Silicone
Hydroxy terminated silanol polymer (CAS 70131-67-8) are intermediates for most room temperature vulcanizeable (RTV) silicones, used both as rubbers and coatings. Low viscosity silanol fluids are employed as filler treatments and structure control additives in silicone rubber compounding. Intermediate viscosity (1,000-10,000 cSt) fluids can be applied to textiles as durable fabric softeners. High viscosity silanol terminated fluids form the matrix component in tackifiers and pressure sensitive adhesives. We provide a full range from 50 cst to 500,000 cst that are highly pure and highly equivalent to major brands. AMR has partnerships with major China manufacturers to secure stable and consistent supply.
Silanes
Industrial functional silanes are typically used as coupling agents to enhance adhesion, increase mechanical properties of composites, improve dispersion of pigments and industrial minerals, provide crosslinking, immobilize catalysts and bind biomaterials. In a wide range of applications, silanes are also used as surface modifiers to prepare hydrophobic and hydrophilic surfaces. Silanes from Asia manufacturers are highly competitive in terms of purity, quality and cost. All structures can be customized and manufactured in industrial scale.
Inert Silicone Oil (PDMS)
Inert PDMS silicone oils (CAS 63128-64-9) are used widely as dielectric, hydraulic, heat transfer, power transmission and damping fluids, as well as additives in many coatings, plastics, and rubber formulas, thanks to the excellent flexibility, chemical inertness, dielectric stability, wide service temperature and low flammability. A full range from 0.5 cst to 1,000,000 cst are provided. AMR has partnerships with major China manufacturers to secure stable and consistent supply.
Plastics Packing & Barrier Films
Plastic films are used in a wide variety of applications including: packaging, plastic bags, labels, building construction, landscaping, electrical fabrication, photographic film, film stock for movies, video tape, etc. High-quality roll and pouch films made from LDPE, LLDPE, PP, PVC and PET are provided. Large varieties of choice could be made among lamination, flexibility, thickness and mechanical strength etc. PE film is typically soft, flexible, clear and glossy and has good tear resistance and good moisture barrier. PP films typically have high gloss, exceptional optics, excellent heat sealing performance, high heat resistance, and good dimensional stability. PET film has high tensile strength, excellent dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, and good retention of physical properties over a fairly wide temperature range. It also has superior UV resistance and excellent electrical properties, and good optical clarity.
